Master’s Degree in Business Administration General Management Economics Political Science any other relevant discipline.
At least 7 years experience in managing projects experience in coordination administration and excellent report writing.
To demonstrate high-level performance management and leadership skills with substantial experience in managing large teams.
Good conceptual thinking skills and an ability to develop diverse and innovative solutions to problems.
Good understanding of project planning and management cycles and experience in developing quality project reports and other documents.
Good team building and communication skills.
Experienced in staff development and capacity building.
Very good self-management competencies.
Ability to communicate appropriately via English Pashto and Dari.
Good managerial and leadership skills for better implementation of the project
Excellent community skills including community-based planning monitoring and evaluation

Duties & Responsibilities
Summary of the Job:
The Project Manager (PM) will be overall responsible for the planning implementation reporting and financial management of the project. He/she will also be responsible to maintain a sound relationship with project stakeholders in timely coordinating project activities engagement them in project interventions share progress and challenges and submitting progress reports to MUDL/ALAPS Team. Likewise the PM will ensure that all project activities are on track staff day-to-day activities of the project team pertaining to the project is supervised staff is supported/guided in keeping the project on track. In addition to establishing Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) to track grievances follow up with MUDL etc.
Overall responsible for planning implementation monitoring and reporting of the project
Prepare inception reports work plans and regular donor progress and impact reports for the project.
Provide technical support to the project team ensuring that they understand their role and implement the project according to the plan
Develop and track weekly meetings and seek reporting from the field ensuring that the project is on track deviations from the plans are addressed.
Prepare and submission of the quality reporting to the MUDL and other sectors in joint consultation of direct line manager
Ensure effective implementation of project activities based on the agreed plan with consideration of budget availability.
Effective management of the project team and guide them based on the requirements of donor agreed on agreement.
Ensure that finance and administrative issues of the projects are tracked followed up and reported.
Support the social organizers in ensuring effective and efficient management and delivery of the project activities through weekly monthly and annual planning budgeting reporting and day-to-day project operations consistent with project cycle management and the project’s goal with the highest standards of programmatic quality.
Lead the development of technical designs of project implementation methodologies for smooth implementation.
Organize and participate in the planned coordination meeting with MUDL to present progress challenges and monitoring findings
Organize a weekly meeting with provincial social organizers ensuring that they follow the project plan
Prepare Monitoring plan to conduct monitoring of the project activities in the 8 targeted cities
Maintains regular contact with project staff on programmatic issues and oversees the work of the project team in the project target locations.
Participate in all internal and external coordination meetings representing the project.
Improve/establish communication and coordination mechanisms and procedures amongst the various stakeholders.
Taking part in monthly coordination meetings with different stakeholders and donors based on the requirements of the project activities.
Ensure timely responses to any grievances made through the project grievance mechanism.
Any other task that is crucial to be done in this capacity by the Project Manager.
