At least 3 years’ work experience particularly with an international organization or local NGO in the field of adult education vocational tryaining community mobilization Humanitarian Skill development / Livelihood projects
Experience in staff management public outreach/ counseling community mobilization data collection and coordination with stakeholders
Strong Command on Dari and English both written and spoken.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-ethnic team and take on diverse tasks.
Working experience in the same local community district villages and familiar with society.
Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of the project officer position is to effectively and efficiently supervise the project at the field level and to be responsible for the project activities and implementation in the field.
Manage of the home based education project in related district
Maintain close cooperation with community leaders and with the assisted population as well as with all relevant stakeholders.
Proper planning for team management and follow up of day to day activities of the HEBWA project.
Responsible for insuring that all participants in the programme achieve basic literacy and numeracy.
Support the management of the vocational training programs and partnerships
Organize and lead coordination meetings prepare and follow and check work plans
Ensure a positive working environment and good team dynamics (solve out potential conflicts)
Represent IR vis-a-vis district authorities participate in official meetings to ensure maximum visibility.
Prepare monthly quarterly result based activity plan.
Prepare monthly quarterly result based progressive report.
Analyse the information procured at training programs and integrates it into programme design.
Analyse measure and report on the operation of the project.
Inspire teachers to excel in their jobs while also achieving goals and meeting deadlines.
Prepare and coordinate daily plan and activities that contributes towards the objective of the project.
Plan appropriately for visibility of IRA activities in the field.
Implement of the prepared plan accordingly;
Regular field visit from project site;
On time reporting of the overall activities being undertaken at the field level to field Coordinator.
Participate in the emergency responses incidences on need basis in the field.
Participate in the joint emergency responses and distributions.
Monitor the implement of the activities at field level and report on the findings to the field coordinator.
Provide help in implementation of the seasonal project at the field level.
Perform any other task assigned or required.
