Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in Education Social Sciences or other relevant field; Master degree is preferred

  • At least 4 years’ experience in the relevant field

  • Experience of community participation ownership and empowerment

  • Proven English and local languages oral and written communication skills

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills

  • Report writing and project management skills is required

  • Proven computer skills in Word Excel and other MS Office software

  • Ability to travel within project coverage area & other provinces as needed.


Duties & Responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to plan oversee the implementation control coordinate report on progress monitor and evaluate the project.




  1. Develop a plan to start the initial project activities

  2. Provide practical technical follow up and monitoring of the entire project activities to ensure the sustainability and impacts of the project

  3. Ensure smooth implementation of the project activities in the field in coordination with relevant stakeholders

  4. Support the development of new training modules and manuals on child rights and social work skills.

  5. Compile and generate the training reports and case studies in Jawzjan Province.

  6. Document and evaluate experiences and lessons learnt for purposes of institutional learning

  7. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.

  8. Conduct frequent travels to the districts to closely monitor activities and provide the project staff support

  9. Plan and schedule project timelines; manage project resource allocation

  10. Organize workshops and trainings for newly recruited project staff

  11. Present reports defining project progress problems and solutions

  12. Responsible for all the planned activities to implement within the budget and on time.

  13. Participate in all relevant meetings on provincial basis

  14. Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual activities reports and success stories

  15. Facilitate childrens meaningful participation throughout the program and develop/implement strategies to enable children to identify and address the issues of concern to them and promote their voices locally regionally and nationally

  16. Ensure personal commitment in building constructive working relationship with all stakeholders

  17. Facilitate monitoring and accountability activities

  18. Lead and management the activities of project provincial staff.

  19. Participate in project orientation and capacity building trainings conduct by WADAN and SCI in Kabul.

  20. Establish sound working relationship with project provincial stakeholders including the governor office provincial and district education departments provincial economy directorates and other related offices.
