Academic Background and Knowledge

Bachelor degree in Political or Social Science/justice  and legal or relevant field

At least 3-5 years of work experience preferably with INGOs  or NGOs in program management .

Education/ in social protection and community Development Experience

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide support to the DRL-SPEAC  team for the proper implementation of Child Protection programming in the community.

Manage and supervise all logistical requirements for the implementation of DRL-SPEAC  programming.

Identify and support in the professional capacity building of stakeholders (communities and government). 

Coordinate with partners and communities in districts and provincial level for the organization and implementation of community awareness activities.

Monitor the project activities document evidence of positive change and challenges and incorporate the evidence in to HRDA/WCC reports and documentation.

Mobilize required resources for activities and monitor their dispersal and use.

Organize regular meetings and ensure effective communication.

In coordination with the legal team and partners develop new lesson plans/ tools in response to the project needs.

 Community groups meeting regularly and productively according to an agenda with follow-up points

Work with project team to establish CBCPMs in target areas

Identify community based volunteers train them and follow up meetings

Work with youth groups on child rights and awareness issues

Active participation in writing of monthly/ quarterly report 

Oversee the productive use of Community groups’ meeting time and ensure effective communication with stakeholders

Conduct legal trainings for legal actors police and etc… on CRC Child Rights and Trafficking in Person Law.

Provide weekly monthly and quarterly plans according to the project Work Plan for better implementation of the project activities.

Provide technical assistance to other programs as per need.

Attend in regular legal team meetings and ensure effective communication within the team for improvement of the project progress activities and implementation

Identify new programming needs and contribute to new project concept development as requested

Organize regular legal team meetings and ensure effective communication within the programs and among other sectors/projects. Ensure to support the program team on developing needed tools exchanging knowledge and work to build their capacity.
