Master’s or its equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience
Ability to establish working relationships with the government and non- government organizations and effective outreach and networking at regional level
Ability to travel to other provinces required
Ability to build strong lines of communication with stakeholders and within the province

Duties & Responsibilities
The Provincial Team Lead is responsible for the high-quality management of the project Provincial Office and will serve as the key liaison and technical leader of the project in the regions liaising between subnational government officials Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and the Technical team in Kabul. This individual needs to ensure the technical implementation and operations of the program is running smoothly in provincial office. The candidate will support the capacity building of project staff in provinces.
Serve as the key liaison and technical leader of the project in the regions and liaise between the subnational government officials Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and the Technical team in Kabul.
Oversee partners and monitor progress and status of their activities.
Promote women’s equality and empowerment identify the areas for improvements and increase awareness of and support for women’s rights in provinces
Coordinate with Civil Society Organizations (CSO) Gender Directorates and other counterparts throughout the region to work with women’s equality and empowerment
Work with Technical team to ensure that the programs and policies are favorable to women’s political economic and social empowerment.
Overseeing the day to day implementation technical and training activities of the project at the provincial level and ensure the activities are held according to the project work plan and time frame
Ensure that the project deliverables are on time within budget and at required quality
Draft and process letters with governmental stakeholders at provincial level in regard to project implementation
Analyze security situation for implementation of the programs
Ensure that all project personnel in provincial office receive an appropriate orientation
Provide weekly and monthly reports to project’s management concerning Provincial office all activities
Strengthen Civil society groups capacities to analyze shortcomings in legislation
Strengthen civil society capability to assess and improve GIROA anti-corruption efforts
Carry out provincial-based needs assessments and gap analyses and communicated through proper channel.
Identify and evaluate the risks of Covid-19 associated with program activities and take appropriate action to control the risks
Provide training and awareness regarding precautionary measurement of Covid-19 and Monitor progress of training and public awareness workshops conducted to staff and beneficiaries.
Perform other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
