Qualification

Education:Master / Bachelor degree in relevant field
Work Experience:• Minimum 3 specific experience in Psycho so Years
Qualification:

  • Bachelor degree in the relevant field

  • Knowledge of NGO operations

  • Minimum 3 years specific experience in Psycho social integration and reintegration is required

  • Experience of working with IDPs and Returnees is an asset.

  • Knowledge of Nangrahar geography and experience of working in Nangrahar.

  • Knowledge of community based Psycho social activities and services

  • Knowledge in writing technical progress reports is essential

  • Knowledge on the humanitarian operations

  • Excellent coordination and communication skills with stakeholders in Nangrahar is essential

  • Knowledge of team leadership and management is essential

  • Fluency in local language and excellent reporting skill in English is required


Duties & Responsibilities

The position holder will have the leadership supervisory and management role in all the following major duties and responsibilities including but not limited to the following;




  • Participate actively in reporting training meetings briefings discussions as required to support HARO office adherence to results-based high-quality timely reporting principles.

  • Planning project level activities

  • Leading the project team in the province

  • Have frequent interactions with project manager to gain additional inputs.

  • Managing the day to day activities of the project in the province

  • Engage fully in established processes among progress reporting colleagues to improve quality control workflow and efficiency  and provide ongoing feedback and input on other such innovations and improvements.

  • Establish linkage/ bridge between the peer group and existing Community Development Council (CDC);

  • Assist peer group in assessment analyzing of community development and protection needs and proposing projects;

  • Support peer group in developing their community development project proposals to receive assistance under the project;

  • Monitor provide technical insights to and manage the implementation of community productive assets building projects.

  • Assist peer group in assessment analyzing of community development and protection needs and proposing projects;

  • Planning project level activities

  • Coordinating and communication project level information to the key stakeholders in the province

  • Reporting the entire project implementation progress and monthly achievements to the main office in Jalalabad.

  • Establish Community based Protection Committee/peer group identify and train peer group members;

  • Establish linkage/ bridge between the peer group and existing Community Development Council (CDC);

  • Conduct mapping of the service provider for referral;

  • Organize service providers monthly network and coordination meetings;

  • Monitoring of community based activities and overall progress made toward the desired objectives

  • Guide and leading the team for all psychosocial activities in the province

  • Conduct social and psychosocial assessment in the province

  • Establishing community-based psychosocial support system (peer system) in the province

  • Planning and organizing campaigns for social and psychosocial reintegration of the people of concerns in the province

  • Training community volunteers in community-based psychosocial reintegration approaches

  • Planning and organizing awareness rising campaigns per each community in psychosocial aspect of reintegration amongst communities

  • Preparing Printing and distributing booklets banners and other IEC material

  • Facilitating community resource persons and community campaigns in the province.

  • Mapping of psycho-social service providers in the province

  • Case management and onward referral in certain cases.

  • Preparing Progress  Report on monthly basis to Donar Agency.

  • Any Other duties and responsibilities Assigned by Provincial Team leader or Program Management.
