Total work experience at least 3 years of work experience
Sector experience a minimum of 2 year(s) in activities related to supporting GBV cases and psychosocial counseling activities
Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills
Good Communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of community development especially working with women children and adolescents.
Excellent computer MS office skills
Excellent communication problem solving and presentation skills
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure and meeting of deadlines
Good reporting skills including report compilation analysis and presentation extremely organized.
The position holder must be diligent in recording all the her/his steps because there are many moving parts in Program Project implementation

Duties & Responsibilities
Program Implementation (60%)
Support his/her supervisor and work closely with Partner Organization to support implementation and monitoring of psychosocial counseling activities and services.
Map communities and identify locations where maximum number of women and men can be reached through community education sessions on psychosocial issues.
Lead the selection of community based women and men as community based psychosocial counselors. This task is carried out in consultation with community leaders.
Support his/her supervisor on leading and supervising trainings for psychosocial focal points and community based psychosocial counselors.
Work with supervisor in planning and implementing activities related to psychosocial counseling and services including community education group counseling sessions individual counseling sessions.
Facilitate weekly psychosocial committee meetings (members include: psychosocial focal points community based psychosocial counselors (volunteers) and community Shura members) to discuss progress challenges and solutions. Submit a report on these activities and the end of each month.
Support his/her supervisor to ensure monitoring of psychosocial counseling activities through field visit regular program monitoring and assist planning and monthly reports.
Provide technical support to the psychosocial team for proper implementation of the project.
Assist in the procurement preparation activities related to trainings and field visits and work closely with logistics department to get this task accomplished
Occasional Significant Duties (20%)
. Perform any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor that are within the general scope of the described responsibilities
Reporting and Coordination (20%):
Provide relevant information on the performed psychosocial counseling and services and submit to supervisor ensuring correct data is submitted on time.
Coordinate with partners and communities in the districts level for the organization and implementation of psychosocial related activities.
Establishing strong coordination with the legal team for any joint activities in the field.
Support his/her supervisor to monitor the project activities document evidence of positive change and challenges and incorporate the evidence in to WCC reports and documentation.
Support his/her supervisor in terms of coordination with the legal team and partners to develop new lesson plans/tools in response to the project needs and test the new tools and share with the M&E team for use.
