  • Sound organization/time management skills.

  • An understanding of event management requirements.

  • Ability to manage time effectively set priorities plan and organize work to meet specific objectives.

  •  Ability to plan own workload with limited supervision set priorities and meet timeframes.

  • Ability to manage small projects and activities simultaneously allocating time and resources appropriately to meet Council’s overall objectives.

  • BA in marketing

  • Preferred MA in Marketing


Duties & Responsibilities


  • Build plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy

  • Manage the strategy

  • Manage and train the rest of the team

  • Stay up to date with latest technology and best practices

  • Manage and oversee various digital marketing channels

  • Build plan and implement the overall digital marketing strategy

  • Measure ROI and KPIs (ROI which stands for return on investment and KPI which stands for key performance indicators)

  • Prepare and manage digital marketing budget

  • Oversee all the companys social media accounts.

  • Suggest activities for improving the quality of online content

  • Track and measure SEO and Google Analytics metrics and provide reports

  • Build an inbound marketing plan

  • Research and forecast future sales and performance trends

  • Lead supervise and motivate members of digital marketing team

  • Research competitors and provide suggestions for improvement

  • Keep abreast with industry and market trends and best practices.

  • Creating promotions & advertisements.

  • Understanding and developing budgets including expenditures              Compiling lists describing our organizations offerings.

  •  Monitor corporate branding applications across the projects’ marketing materials to deliver quality corporate brand image consistently.

  • Oversee all marketing activities take metrics and write performance reports.

  • Liaise with internal and external teams to ensure that tasks are completed and programs are delivered on time

  • Developing and managing advertising campaigns.

  • Organizing company conferences trade shows and major events.

  • Building brand awareness and positioning.

  • Evaluating and maintaining a marketing strategy.

  • Directing planning and coordinating marketing efforts.

  • Communicating the marketing plan.

  • Developing each marketing campaign from start to finish.

  • Researching demand for the organizations products and services.

  • Evaluating competitors.

  • Handling social media public relation efforts and content marketing.

  • Research industry-related topics (combining online sources interviews and studies)

  • Write clear marketing copy to promote our products/services

  • Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems

  • Proofread and edit blog posts before publication

  • Coordinate with Arts and design teams to illustrate articles
