Qualifications Required:


At least having MD degree.

At least 3-5 years work experience in relevant field

Be familiar with the safe motherhood initiative and each of its components.

Having basic knowledge and skill of computer especially Microsoft Words PPT Excel and Access.

Knowledge of English and Local Languages

Strong communication presentation and report writing skills.

Able and willing to travel at least onnce per quarter to JWN and Sar-e-Pul provinces.

To be flexible having positive attitude and the ability to work under pressure

Duties & Responsibilities



A-General Responsibilities

Act according to the policy of SAF

Keep confidential with issues related to SAF

Develop Spirit of co-operation and understanding among members of the  team

 Work with co-operative attitude and keep a high standard of quality


B-Specific responsibilities

·         Ensures that RMNCAH activities/services are performed according to the BPHS standards in SAF’s supported health facilities.

·         Assist the relevant provincial staff in implementation of national policies strategies and protocols related to RMNCAH.

Represent SAF in all RMNCAH related trainings/workshops and other event at national level.

Guides and extensively support the relevant provincial staff of Jawzjan and Sar-e-Pul SEHATMNADI projects to effectively achieve the index and maximum levels of RMNCAH related output/outcome indicators.

Collects the HMIS and RMNCAH related data analyzes the data VS the related performance indicators and when necessary provides constructive feedbacks to the provincial relevant staff.

Carry out regular field visits for the purposes of monitoring and supervision of RMNCAH related activities/services at the project sites.

Attend all RMNCAH related meetings and task forces at the national level

Improve safe mother-hood by conducting refresher training course at the project level and provide on job training for field staff.

Keep an up to date record of all trainings of all projects’ staff involved in RMNCAH activities/services.

Performs any other task assigned by the program director
