Duties & Responsibilities
The Primary responsibility of the Senior Development Projects Specialistis to support the Program Team in ensuring results of projects are achieved as outlined in the project documents to the required standard of quality and within the specified constraints of time and cost.
The incumbent will carry out the following functions:
Provides advice and strategic technical support to capacity development activities focusing on achievement of the following results:
Provides advice on capacity development issues related to Implementing Partners.
Ensuring effective budget execution rate in regard of the development projects in coordination with other entities of MoF.
Reviews the plans for all directorates of MoF.
Ensure effective and efficient management of the MoF Projects focusing on quality control of the implementation of the project activities and focusing on achievement of the following results:
Provides key support in the implementation of program monitoring and Program Team Senior Management; and MoF Projects;
Impact of Results:
The key results are the successful implementation of projects and the timely delivery of key outputs against the agreed work plan; and also effective monitoring of the project activities. In particular the key results have an impact on the operation and programming of activities effective and time-bound monitoring and reporting as well as building and strengthening partnerships with government non- government and private sector agencies.

Planning and Execution: Capacity to interpret priorities into realistic projects deliverable.
Leadership: Competent leadership abilities necessary for dynamic diverse and complex projects.

i). Internal Contacts: Specialists Program Coordinators Program Officer Technical Officers Engineers and Director of PIU.
ii) External Contacts: Ministries Partner Institutions Donor agencies MOF Directorates and projects stakeholders.
