Additional job responsibilities:

Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and provide technical supports to all FSL (Food Security and Livelihoods) related programmes which are implemented in any of the Save the Children’s covered provinces. The position is also responsible to provide assistance to the provincial FSL project staff with technical guidelines for project selection project planning & development implementation of innovations and changes for sustainability monitoring of field activities and strengthening liaison with government and local partners. In addition provide technical inputs for development of new FSL project proposals. Furthermore he should support the provincial staff for editing and improvement of monthly quarterly and final report for any FSL grants.
Key Areas of Accountabilities:
1. Programme Implementation and Support
Senior FSL Programme Manager in country will provide technical advice and supports to ongoing FSL programs across the country based on the implementation guidelines and procedures.
2. Reporting and Documentation
With the collaboration of provincially-based Project Managers/Coordinators and other members of FSL unit at country office prepare and edit all associated donor reports –– monthly quarterly and final for FSL programs.
3. Coordination and Representation
National level coordination in FSL is also a key aspect of this post as well as national and global learning on FSL key accountabilities.
4. Capacity Building of Project Staff
§ With the collaboration of Provincial Senior Managers and HR team identify capacity development needs among provincially-based project staff for the interest of implementing FSL projects with quality and based on Save the Children’s FSL directions/approaches.
Support the capacity building of FSL project staff during the life of the grant.
5. Child Safeguarding
Support FSL project staff so that they comply with all relevant Save the Children policies and procedures regarding child protection and child safeguarding for the maximum protection of children.
