Responsibilities:

Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

Following are the main tasks but not limited to:

Following DACAAR all SSED activities in the field and regular monitoring of the planned activities in all DACAAR covered regions under program department.
Contribute and follow implementation of the detailed yearly and monthly action plans for SSED with detailed timelines indicators and resource recommendations.
Conduct specific trainings and workshops to develop the capacity of SSED NRM and WE relevant staff in the regional level.
Conduct market surveys in target districts of the relevant region where SSED activities are being implemented.
Follow up on the established business and report on the income of the businesses to compare income and expenditures.
Build capacity of VT program graduates in creating market linkages for their income generating activities.
Provide feedback on vocational training syllabus and toolkits being provided to the most disadvantaged beneficiaries and groups.
Support the TAALIM Project Manager in networking with other NGOs and Government departments when representing DACAAR in external meetings.
Regularly visiting field activities and provide on the spot support to SSED staff in the field.
Carry out any other relevant task given by the superior.
Collect required data from the field when needed for donor quarter semiannual and annual report.
Make sure that SSED relevant budget lines spend properly and no under and over spend.
Support project manager whenever preparing donor proposal.
Any other task assign by supervisor.
The SSED Senior Officer will also:
Undergo ongoing coaching from the TAALIM Project Manager in both practical and analytical aspects of the work.

Education/ Qualification and Employment Benefits                                              

Education: Bachelor degree in Economics (BBA) Bachelor in Business Administration or social science master degree is preferable

Experience:  least 2 years of relevant experience in SSED development with a donor-funded or NGO program in Afghanistan.

Other qualifications’ an advantage:

Knowledge of SSED development projects managements and implementation in Afghanistan.
Experience working with governmental and non-governmental organizations in Afghanistan.
Experience and skills in training and transfer of knowledge (mentorship area).
Ability to plan and organize own work deliver results and meet deadlines.
Ability to work effectively within a team supporting others and fostering a positive team environment.
Commitment to continual improvement of knowledge skills and abilities.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preference for candidates with small scale enterprises development projects experience.
Excellent Working knowledge

Languages: Pashto/Dari & English
