Prior Work Experience:

Two years of administration and management work experience with an international organization UN NGO western military western embassy is required. Additionally 6 months of supervisory experience is required.


Language: Level IV (Fluent) speaking/reading in English Dari & Level I/limited Pashto is required.

Job Knowledge: 

Must be familiar with office administration. Need to have extensive experience in working with Microsoft Office application and mid-level database management. Must be able to do queries and filtering sorting and maintaining of large data records. Familiarity with U.S. Department of State and USAID rules and regulations is also desirable.

Skills and Abilities: 

Must have mid to advance level of working knowledge with Microsoft Office Access & Excel 2010. Good working knowledge of other office applications in support of the high volume working environment. Needs to have the ability to manage several tasks at the same time such as handling multiple phone calls and inputting data at the same time. Should have some working knowledge of SharePoint.

Duties & Responsibilities

In collaboration with the RSO Vetting Branch Chief the incumbent directs manages and supervises the activities of four (4) LE Admin Clerks and coordinates with thirty six (36) Foreign Service National Investigators (FSNIs) within the RSO/Investigations Division. Incumbent ensures the effective and timely delivery of quality services to RSO/Investigations office. Overseas all administrative operations managed by RSO/LE staff personnel within RSO/Investigations Division. Provides highly complex administrative support to the RSO Investigations Division. Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; recommends within departmental policy appropriate services and procedures. Plans coordinates and review systems methods and procedures for the RSO Vetting Branch. Management of the Security Certificate for LES/TCNs of more than 2500 vetted personnel throughout country and makes sure that they go through the Security Recertification process every two years.
