Availability of at least 3 years job experience in humanitarian sector and in a similar position with leadership and field supervision responsibilities.
High level communication skills.
Competencies in communication consultation staff-management time management supervision decision making and planning skills
Have knowledge of office automation in computers.
Sound health for hard working conditions under high temperature and insecure regions.
Should be fluent in Pashto Dari and English languages.
Ability to deal well with a diverse population.

Duties & Responsibilities
The Team Leader is responsible for the operation in Kunar and Nuristan provinces under the project agreement. He is to make sure all staff in Kunar and Nuristan are performing their activities smoothly and the team is well prepared for protection monitoring and emergency response activities. Team leader is also responsible to respond positively for any queries regarding project implementation in Kunar and Nuristan to APA Jalalabad office GIRoA and UNHCR Jalalabad Office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the protection monitoring and emergency response process by managing the project staff checking all the work be a close cooperative with APA and UNHCR sub Office Jalalabad and DoRR representative in the corresponding provinces (Kunar and Nuristan).
Team leader is responsible in attending ad-hoc meetings with APA and UNHCR SO Jalalabad to discuss issues.
Team leader is also responsible for making sure there is sufficient and appropriate personnel with the right level of resources and other support needed to implement good quality Project.
Manage and Monitor all the work done in the project and find the issues to be corrected.
Reports all security related information to his supervisor in Jalalabad office.
Provides report to his superior with an overview of all important developments on monthly bases.
Supervise all activities of project in Kunar and Nuristan to manage staff members’ attendance management of vehicles and all other related issues.
Direct and Supervise day to day operations of the project and participate in the field missions with other project field staff.
Make sure the implementation process is going on in best manner by supervising and monitoring project implementation.
Regularly appraise staffs and provide feedback and support to enable them to do their jobs better.
Establish and maintain good working relations with the relevant government directorates as well as other high level stakeholder groups.
Encourage staff to report frankly on fieldwork highlighting problems and possible solutions plus lessons learned. Reward innovation in critical reflection and learning.
Ensure the planning of and participate in key reflection moments in particular the annual project reviews.
Submit required analytical reports on progress – including indications of planned actions and financial statements – on time and to the relevant bodies.
Full consideration to the security issues at all parts of project
Perform other duties as directed by his supervisor including short term assignments to other two provinces under the project (Nangarhar and Laghman).
