Bachelor BA BBA or Masters’ degree in the respective profession and have at least 2 -4 years’ experience “in training needs analysis/assessment design/development of training programs delivery of training courses and special interest and skill in class presentation and training delivery is required.

Duties & Responsibilities

Scope of Work:

This project is designed to increase women participation in the economy by securing employment or advancing in their careers and with women-owned businesses or businesses that employ more women to grow their revenues. The workforce development component of the program helps female jobseekers from ages 18 and older secure new or better employment. The private sector development component of the program works with businesses that are women-owned or employ women to help them grow revenues. This project will contribute to recognize the need for qualified female teachers for private primary schools through provision of primary schools teacher training in Kabul Herat Kandahar and increase the employment ratio of at least 70% trained female teacher. The project will be implemented in two major components (1) Training and (2) Job placement throughout the project target locations including Kabul Herat and Kandahar provinces.

Detailed Responsibilities;

The Teacher Trainer is primarily responsible to teach the designed training curriculum conduct training seasons prepare training material presentation and organize the delivery of short term training for the female teacher trainees in the respective province. In addition the trainer is responsible for training delivery training evaluation follow up and learning verification activities and report writing.

  • Providing teacher training for RSSAO beneficiaries in Kabul Herat and Kandahar.

  • Contributes to designing and development of curriculum training plan and quality training materials for use in training activities.

  • Design/develop training material. 

  • Deliver teacher trainings.

  • Monitor the quality of training through participation in sessions post-training interviews with participants review of evaluation forms filled out by participants and other methods.

  • Utilize the monitoring information for improving the quality of training.

  • Develop/apply tools for training impact assessment. 

  • Write report on subject matter delivered training. 

  • Contribute to the development of training strategic plan.

  • Prepares periodic reports for the Training.

  • Conduct training need assessment if needed. 

  • Introduce tools and consistently collect feedback on training effectiveness from perspective of all the stakeholders including trainees trainers line managers senior managers. Utilize the feedback for improvement of training. 

  • Consult the master trainer and management team for quality improvements and applicable training methodologies on regular bases.

  • Any other duties and responsibilities required.

  • Skills

  • Proficiency in instructional design and training delivery. 

  • Approach different training methodologies to address different learning style of the audience. 

  • Able to develop tools for training impact assessment. 

  • Fluent in local language of the respective province.

  • Strong networking skills excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Task orientation with ability to manage multiple projects with a high level of urgency without losing composure and compromising productivity;

  • Excellent writing and document (Word PowerPoint) formatting skills
