Bachelor’s Degree- preferably in Economic Business administration Accounting Project Management or social science.

At least 4 years’ experience in conducting capacity building trainings

committed team player and ability to work with culturally diverse groups of people.


Professional competence and specialist knowledge and understanding of theories concepts and approaches relevant to training management and administration management.

Excellent skills in networking information collection and analysis procedure with a view to recognizing potential threats and danger.

Experience in coordinating global training events. Detail orientation and advanced organizational skills

Planning & Organizing

Excellent planning and organizational skills including the production of policy and procedure papers supporting project operations in the country of operations. Develops clear goals that are consistent with agreed strategies; identifies priority activities and assignments; adjusts priorities as required; allocates appropriate amount of time and resources for completing work; foresees risks and allows for contingencies when planning; monitors and adjusts plans and actions as necessary; uses time efficiently.


English is the working languages of the Colombo Plan Secretariat.

For the post advertised fluency English i.e. oral and written proficiency is essential. Fluency in Dari and fluency in Pashtun is an advantage.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and administer all training activities oversight develop budget for each individual’s trainings and approval process inspection and evaluation of all training progress.

Develop training curriculum and training manual/policy

Develop and improve processes for the smooth implementation of training programs for AWSF and ACSCF implementing partners for the year 2019

Solve logistical and training class delivery issues as quickly as possible with minimum impact to participants of our implementing partners.

Handle questions and requests via phone and email related to training offerings and policies and procedures providing excellent service to our clients and target groups.

Create and maintain training schedules across various locations and delivery formats. Ensure systems are up to date with information to publish offerings internally and externally.

Consistently maintain accuracy of data in relation to all aspects of training coordination such as class scheduling registrations rosters attendance and distribution of training materials including distribution of trainee’s allowance.

Work to timescales and processes for training event coordination and logistics ensuring quality and consistency of training events developing plans and processes as required.

Report compile and distribute training information internally and externally ensuring this is accurate complete and free from errors.

Serves as contact for Service Now Authorized Training Partners providing responsive support as necessary.

Data entry and handling skills to a high level of accuracy

Demonstrated experience creating and/or improving operational processes.

Fluency in English/Dari/Pashto written and verbal communication skills

Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills; experience with learning management systems beneficial.

Controlling all kind of payments for implementing partners participants on procurement process physical verification of their attendance all payment to the suppliers Hotels checking supporting documents for all payments and other operational activities (logistic admin procurement finance security)

Follow up compile and review all training supporting documents reports from the AWSF implementing partners and all stakeholders.

Prepare weekly monthly & Quarterly reports spreadsheets graphs and briefs on the training and logistical activities & Progress of AWSF/ACSCF training programs and present financial information in a clear manner.

Consult & keep the director & other relevant CP officers informed of all training related logistical issues anomalies gaps constraints & progress policies and developments that have a direct or indirect bearing on the Colombo Plan and its activities under the Afghanistan Women Shelter Fund (AWSF) and Afghan Child Support Center Fund (ACSCF)

Coordinate and inform all GAP implementing partners about all trainings program and invite them accordingly.

Enhance relationship with implementing partner’s operation staff and to provide provincial administrations with the means and incentives to improve to their knowledge through conducting good quality training programs.

Secure the confidentiality of all interactions and records at all times;

Providing Interim assistant and conduct on Job trainings to implementing partner’s operational staff to ensure that they are better able to meet their operational activities including positive changes in IPs internal control system.

Prepare all operational/Logistical activities and trainings progress reports in accordance to project(s) requirements

Carry out other responsibilities assigned by supervisor
