  • University degree in Economic English literature Computer science & any other relevant fields

  • At least 3 years of Experience in Capacity Development of Civil society or other institutions.

  • Experience of grants management/administration

  • Familiarity & experience with financial reporting (single & double data entry system سیستم اندراج یگانه و دوگانه)

  • Good command of written and spoken Dari Pashto and English is a must

  •  Excellent Computer skill at operator level especially with MS Office Package

  • Ability to work under stress/ pressure of work loads

  • Self-motivated and active team player

  • Ability of initiative innovation and accordingly pursue proactively with monitoring and supervision

  • Ability to travel frequently to unsecure areas including Paktika Ghazni districts & Logar province.

  • Being an Afghan national


  • Facilitate effective capacity development of all SCA’s target groups with specific focus on organizational development (vision and mission leadership and management financial management human resource management stakeholder relations communications and advocacy mobilization technology utilization and others)

  • Adhere to SCA’s guidelines for capacity development of target groups.

  • Support and mentor Programme staff at RMO that works with capacity development of target groups.

  • Ensure that SCA’s methods and tools for organizational development of target groups are used correctly by Programme staff at RMOs that work with the target groups.

  • Administration including financial in relation to capacity development of target groups.

  • Monitor progress of capacity development interventions with target groups following RBM.

  • Organize and conduct organizational assessments and capacity development interventions with target groups.

  • Contribute to learning and internal and external reporting related to capacity development.

  • Administration of grants to civil society partners including assessment of proposals and reports. Monitoring of granted projects to civil society partners to ensure compliance with grant rule and regulations.

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Unit Manager

  • To participate in SCA’s advocacy efforts at provincial level while strengthening SCA-supported national advocacy efforts.

  • To initiate development of case studies and success stories from the impact/result of SCA intervention in organizational development of civil society organizations.

  • To participate in developing of applications/ proposals in civil society organization as well as participating in budget development and activities setting for the unite.

  • To maintain a proper filing system in the respective provincial office. Perform other duties as required
