وظایف

INTRODUCTION:



 



Care of Afghan Families (CAF) implementing the Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) from Jan-2014 and EPHS from July-2017 under SEHAT project in Logar province.



 



Care of Afghan Families (CAF) is a non-governmental non-political not for profit and independent Afghan organization. The organization was established on January-2003 in Kabul and is registered with Ministry of Economy. CAF is mainly involved in the field of health education research & community development. I-GENERAL Responsibilities:



 



Overall management of the CAF CLTS project implementation in Logar province Mohammad Agha District.



He/ She will lead CAF office and represent CAF in relevant meetings/workshops/event at provincial level.



 



II-Specific Job Responsibilities:



 



Managing CAF CLTS project implementation according to the plan (contracts).  

Planning the project and/ or participating in the planning process.

Managing the implementation strategy of the projects.

Managing the budget of the CLTS project with assistance of admin/ finance and logistic team.

Managing the logistic affairs of the CLTS project with assistance of logistic team.

To prepare quarterly project implementation report and other ad hoc reports as well as annually and final reports and submit to CAF Kabul Office for review finalization and timely submission to the donor.

Managing the external relations of the organization related to CLTS project in meetings workshops and other formal gatherings at provincial and national level.

Approval of benefits recruitment and dismissal of project staff according to CAF rules and regulations.

Support the Project Trainers & Advice in implementation of CLTS mobilization of CDCs using new CLTS approaches and tools for sanitation operation & maintenance and for inducing safe hygiene behavior in the covered districts.

Coach train mentor and support the community facilitators in implementing the chosen mobilization strategies and approaches [for CLTS safe drinking water operation & maintenance and for inducing safe hygiene behavior] with the community members of the covered districts.

On the job trainings to the Community Facilitators (CFs)

Ensure quality control of baseline assessments KAP surveys;

Conduct exposure visit of CLTS teams in various location

Support the facilitation and implementation of participatory elaboration of WASH Development Plans;

In coordination with Program Manager and the relevant District Coordinator liaise with CDCs DDA DG line ministry departments at district level community members teachers school principals mullahs and additional key WASH stakeholders with regard to mobilization for CLTS/WASH.

Propose options and support the establishment of a district-wide monitoring system for WASH infrastructures (WASH in schools and in communities);

Support the capacity building of relevant line ministry departments (MoPH MRRD) with regard to using CLTS manual and work Family Health Action Group (FHAG).

Monitor and evaluate the activities and activity sequences at output level;

Support the Program Manager and WASH teams in the monitoring at outcome level;

Support the project to build up and maintain trustworthy relationships with the partners and the direct and indirect beneficiaries;

Facilitate the cross-learning between WASH and other projects of (CAF) and take part in knowledge sharing events;

Participate in relevant WASH network events and meetings at provincial and district level;

Perform any other task as assigned by the Program Manager.

Reporting

Weekly and monthly reports to the Program Manager and with copy to (Position Name)

Provision of relevant inputs for Quarter and annual WASH reports;
