The successful applicants will need to address the following criteria:
Graduate from a recognized Medical University.
At least three years’ full-time experience in management of provincial health projects.
Training in RH EPI TB Nutrition IMCI and HMIS is preferable.
Work experience with other health organizations.
Excellent knowledge of English (Written spoken and understanding) Pashto or Dari.
Must have an understanding and working experience of office programs outlook and internet.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work and deal successfully in a multi-cultural environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
leads provincial staff provides strategic directions and has meaningful managerial skills.
provides technical support to subordinates besides he maintains close coordination among partners including provincial and district governors provincial health director and line departments under health programs.
In addition deals with different challenges and worked under different conditions in normal and extremely insecure areas where he fits himself and overcome the specific solutions
Facilitating the staff recruitment process in cooperation with the project manager and HR officer.
Conducting and analyzing TNA
Preparing of training annual plan
To ensure CHWs are supervised and trained according to the CHW curriculum defined by MOPH.
Assisting in the procurement process to timely supply of the HFs and HPs and supervising the supply process.
To ensure all HFs and HPs are equipped and supplied according to revised BPHS.
To assist in adopting the existing monitoring systems and mechanisms for project indicators.
Planning and conducting Joint Monitoring Missions to the project site with PPHOs
To prepare action and supervision annual plans according to the project requirement.
To supervise the project technical activities and to support the project supervisors in conducting supportive supervision of HFs and HPs to ensure all components of BPHS 2010 delivered to the clients.
To ensure HMIS data is completely collected from HFs and HPs and submitted to the HMIS department monthly.
To implement MOPH guidelines policies and strategies.
To assist the project manager in technical planning.
To assist in emergency planning and getting ready to respond to any emergency and outbreak.
Improve the quality of service delivery through supportive supervision and using the HMIS data for decision making and planning.
To analyze HMIS data to see the project progress and to use the data for planning.
To provide the data and information for the project technical reports to the project manager.
