Bachelor in Architecture or Civil Engineering; Master Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture is a distinct advantage.
Capability to do the architectural design structural design for (road water supply power supply and park & recreation projects).
Minimum 5 years of related experience in the field of Design.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Dari and/or Pashto.

Prepare road design water supply design power supply design park and recreation areas design capacity.
Design and Prepare technical specifications for vertical structure/horizontal structure irrigation structure projects and creating the final site specific drawings of the structures for construction in line with the design and technical specifications requirements for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare the architectural water supply power supply and park designs with all details according to the codes and specifications.
Prepare as built and shop drawings and other designs for DMM if needed.
Manage monitor supervise and explain the works done in the projects by CDCs or contractor (FP and CDCs/ GAs) to reach required specifications on the drawings and technical designations prepared by technical team.
Manage Review and check of all design which is submitting by FP and PMU and guide then on the issues related to the design of the projects.
Ensure all drawings and specifications are updated for use and latest material is available.
Prepare and maintain sketches maps reports and legal descriptions of designs in order to describe certify and assume liability for work performance.
Verify the accuracy of designs in proposals and make sure to complete all needed details based on site condition.
Prepare a guide line or design manual to comply the needs of CCAP and EZ-Kar programs.
Prepare and conduct design sessions in the training plans to build the capacity of FP PMU and other teams if needed.
Prepare a list of sample drawings for the CCNPPP and EZ-Kar projects as a direction for FPs PMUs and PIU usage.
Check and ensure that all provinces are using the same codes and designs for the program.
Consider cost effectiveness and safety of new designs.
Good understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
Reporting: Preparing of design report to describe the following:
Exact codes are using for all project in all regions.
The specifications prepared by PIU team and matching the Afghanistan standards codes.
The site situation on the designs and following of required standards on the field.
Coordination of the projects designs in CDCs/GAs and make sure about their needs.
Compare of the TPM reports and deviations with codes and standards used in the design prepared by PIU.
