An agriculture degree is preferred with 2 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in the preparation of agriculture related questionnaires and surveys. Be prepared to provide examples of your works.
Experience in working with USAID funded programs/projects will be an advantage
Able to travel to the districts and villages.
Excellent computer skills in MS Office
Must be familiar with local languages and ability to provide report in English (Writing and Speaking).
Good communication skills.
The Independent Contractor (IC) will oversee all HVC ongoing projects at the district level and provide technical support for farmers and district coordinators in order to increase effectiveness and productivity. The IC will be a member of a small team guided by Provincial Implementation Manager (PIM) while providing quality assistance to lead farmers and farmer groups to a goal of improving profits and sustainable employment for men and women and result in an increase in annual production and sales.
