Job summary:

The IT Operation General Manager (IT Admin CCTV) will manage helpdesk services in the New Kabul Bank main office and branches in Kabul and outside Kabul. The IT Operation General Manager (IT Admin CCTV) is responsible to ensure the users computing devices are operational and the end users are able to continue their work without any disruption. The Manager will lead the team of more than 30 individuals in the Kabul Zone.

IT Operation General Manager (IT Admin CCTV) is also responsible for managing IT administrative and CCTV related works.

General Manager - IT Operations reports to CIO / Deputy CIO.


Job Description:

- Act as the main point of contact for the Help desk support throughout New Kabul Bank.

- Manage a team of IT Helpdesk officer including IT Workshop IT Inventory NOC IT stock and CCTV staff in HQ.

- Responsible to lead IT Helpdesk and CCTV team that diagnose desktop laptop network CCTV hardware and software problems.

- Escalate Level 3 and level 4 support to system Administrator Network engineers database administrators and other NKB departments / Branches.

- Developing and maintaining all relevant IT documentation.

- Responsible to ensure that users computing devices comply with IT Department policies and procedures.

- Analyzing and making recommendations for desktop hardware/software standardization and deployment.

- Develop and implement strategic initiatives for centralized management (includes patch management) and works closely with Server Administrators to develop ´Zero- Administration´ initiatives to centralize distribution of software to desktop.

- Responsible for staff rotation at New Kabul Bank.

- Support and maintenance of software packages utilized by our end users including Office SharePoint Virus Protection Help Desk Software and other miscellaneous packages.

- Ensure that software installed in the computers comply with Software licensing policy.

- Maintain logs of complaints and resolutions.

- Responsible for managing and maintaining updated inventory and stock.

- Administers registration archive and records of official correspondence invoices contracts and other related documents.

- Assist IT Departments in preparation of the budget and writing ad hoc reports.

- Any other task assigned by CIO or DCIO from time to time.

- Design Implement and timely review IT helpdesk CCTV related policies and suggest changes to IT management according to current technological challenges and threats.

- Ensures administration by Helpdesk officers of all the client side related IT hardware and Software and ensures 100% uptime of services offered to Clients and work as a team.
