Graduated from Education University or any relevant institute.

At least 3 years of work experience in organizing training workshops preferably in the field of education with international NGOs.

Very good spoken and written Pashto Dari and English languages.

Able to travel provinces and related districts outside of the duty station as and when required.

Good working skills on computer (Microsoft office).

Good communication and inter personal relation skills.

Ability to work independently in the field.

A good team player & problem solver.

 Excellent in report writing.

The central role of this lower management level position is to assist the Project coordinator in designing and delivering of Girls Learn to Teach Afghanistan (GLLTA) Program training workshops in the province. She/he is responsible to supervise the GLLTA program in the province and work closely with district government authorities local Shuras (CECs PTAs CDCs and etc) and ensure that the program training plan  is implemented in high quality standard and on best interest of children.



The GLLTA Trainer is accountable to carry out the following key role and responsibilities:

She will assist Project Coordinator in training need assessment designing and implementing the training work plans for GLLTA students.

Developing Training need assessments and comprehensive Training plan in line with the Project goals and objectives.

Deliver high quality training workshops to the Teacher teachers mentors and or facilitators where the project targeted beneficiaries learning and development requirement addressed effectively and efficiently.

Support in the capacity building of participant in close coordination with the parents school teachers PED/DED and community members.

Closely communicate with project coordinator regularly report the progress as well as any anticipated concerns.

Prepare a monthly report and collect stories of beneficiaries that demonstrate the impact of the program.

Assist the project coordinator in the development of training work plans procurement of training stationeries and materials (training manuals and handouts).

Develop training materials in line with projects work plan and assessments needs

To be in regular contact with KBL training coordinator and get support from her.

To carry out visits to districts to GLLTA classes in Kandahar and Nangarhar district.

To lead GLLTA in the province.

Assist TT to deliver high quality training workshops to GLTTA students.

Assist the MEAL team in the process of project training data collections and data management.

Identify training gaps/needs and or areas of improvements - document best practices and lessons learnt. 

Assist the project coordinator in producing of training reports quarterly project progress reports to meet donor reporting schedule.

Any other task given by the line manager.
