Work Experience: 2- 5 Years


High School diploma required Bachelor’s Degree preferred
2-5 years of experience in reporting communications and administration with experience on donor-funded programs preferred.
Knowledge of procurement regulations required
Fluency in written and verbal English required. Strong writing skills also required.
Excellent computers skills particularly with MS- Office Package.

Ability to work well in a cross-cultural environment

Time management and prioritization skills
Demonstrated ability to build relationships between work units and departments
Fluent written and spoken English Dari and Pashto.
Ability to develop policy and procedure guidelines
Good adaptability and ability to work under extreme pressure
Strong customer service and ability to work quickly under deadlines

Duties & Responsibilities

Blumont is seeking candidates for the position of Management Assistant to provide support to the COP and COMAC senior management. Job duties will include but not be limited to the following:

Specific Job Functions:

Produces information by transcribing formatting inputting editing retrieving copying and transmitting text data and graphics.

Conserves COMAC COP time by reading researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters and documents; collecting and analyzing information; initiating telecommunications.
Maintains COP’s appointment schedule by planning and scheduling meetings conferences teleconferences and travel.
Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries. Coordinates with the COMAC security team to obtain clearance for visitors.
Completes projects by assigning work to clerical staff; following up on results.
Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
Secures information by completing data base backups.
Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending relevant program workshops; reviewing program publications/reports; establishing personal networks; participating in coordination/cluster group meetings as required.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
