Education: Bachelor / Master degree in Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of General experience and 3 years experience as a Proposal Write
We are looking for a well-organized Proposal Writer with strong leadership skills to join our growing team.
Main responsibilities are enlisted below:
Coordinate and facilitate among BPCC members donor agencies and national / international organizations.
Represent and introduce BPCC in events gatherings and conferences at national and international level.
Estimating to develop project budgets. Coordinate delivery of basis documents to estimating. Obtain review and approval from project executive and/or director of operations and communicate to project team.
Prepare project proposals (Technical / Financial) in response to RFQs ITBs RFPs RFIs RFAs and EOIs.
Consult with clients vendors personnel in other departments or engineers to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labor estimates.
Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
Confer with engineers architects owners contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning organizing and scheduling work.
Prepare cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components.
Establish and maintain tendering process and conduct negotiations.
Visit site and record information about access drainage and topography and availability of services and resources.
Analyze and develop concept notes for project and estimates all required BOQs related to the project.
Develop project documents reports and evaluate a product’s cost effectiveness or profitability as requested.
Develop Plans / Schedules using Prime Avera / MS Project.
Search market (newspapers websites etc.) for potential opportunities daily.
Search and contact with the donors for creating business opportunities.
Research writing editing and publication for proposal sections past performance project descriptions work plans (using MS Project/Prime Avera) work methodology.
Prepare/Edit QC / HSE / Project Management / Implementation / Community Outreach etc. Plans.
Attend Proposal Conferences and site visits as required.
Any other tasks assigned by President/CEO.
