Duties & Responsibilities
AFIAT targets policy mid-level and service delivery agents/actors with a range of technical activities (TA). The program builds on previous USAID TA programs legacy while exploring innovative and evidence-based approaches to strengthening care-seeking access to and quality of proven health and nutrition interventions. AFIAT also enhances the national health systems resilience and sustainability through improved performance and engagement of the public and private health sectors.
MSH-AFIAT) in collaboration with program partners is leading the implementation of Objective Three of AFIAT— Enhance Adoption of Optimal Health and Nutrition Behaviors—including leading overall design development of implementation strategy and guidance and capacity building to local partners in the area of awareness and SBCC. MSH will also contribute to SBCC research and associated studies and surveys.
MSH is seeking a well-qualified SBCC Officer to lead the implementation of the SBCC component of the USAID-funded five-year AFIAT project. The position is based in Kabul Afghanistan and open only to Afghan citizens.
