The AUAF Surveillance detection Team Leader should have as a minimum the following skills experience and qualifications:




  • Previous leadership and supervisory experience.

  • High school diploma.

  • Radio communication experience.

  • Basic command of spoken English.

  • Fluent in Dari or Pashto language.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

وظایف


  • Conduct Surveillance detection of potential hostile surveillance operatives by way of physical and technical observation in situations which are static on foot and mobile.

  • Using taught Surveillance detection techniques report any suspicious activity by potential surveillance operatives to your direct supervisor and the chain of command.

  • Gather information and intelligence on suspicious and/or potential hostile surveillance operatives.

  • Prepare accurate daily intelligence logs in order to determine the extent and nature of suspicious or surveillance activity and to allow for future team tasking.

  • Prepare written statements when required in support of possible criminal prosecution of hostile surveillance operatives or suspicious persons.

  • Be conversant with all items of technical equipment necessary to undertake Surveillance detection operations. These can include optics such as cameras and binoculars coupled with radio and cell phone devices.

  • Operate surveillance detection equipment in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Cultivate any human intelligence sources to provide early warning and detection of surveillance or suspicious activities.

  • Plan organize and supervise activities conducted by the Surveillance Detection Team utilizing the best use of resources both efficiently and effectively to achieve AUAF goals.

  • Evaluate the quality of information and intelligence gathered before deciding on the next course of action.

  • Disseminate intelligence in a timely manner to the appropriate individuals departments and organizations to ensure further action and negate potential hostile action.

  • Must maintain confidentiality and trust at all times regarding information or intelligence gained.

  • Attend training courses provided either internally or externally.

  • Cooperate with other members of the AUAF security team and Garda World PSC team at all times.

  • During emergencies at any location ensure you understand the emergency procedure and security SOP’s.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor or department head.
