Conduct studies in Water Resource Management in River Basin level and recommend the best alternative plan for flood mitigation and efficient usage of water.
Assist in conducting studies and research in flash flood mitigation in Afghanistan large cities and prepare Plan for flood control in the cities.
Assist in conducting studies and research in ground water dropdown and propose/ recommend methodology for recharging the sources.
Assist in development and implementation of the measures that ensure environmental protection for improved ground and surface water quality land quality and biodiversity
Assist in improvement of the information system management (database and GIS development) in the basin that includes flow analysis waste management services water resources planning ground water evaluation
Assisting the top management of NWARA in review of relevant documents and reports; identifies priorities; liaises with relevant parties; identifies follow-up actions.
Assisting in preparation of various technical and academic documents e.g. investigation monitoring and feasibilities reports background and baseline reports and other relevant documents.
Provide technical Assistance/ advice and conduct analyses on strategies for watershed management and operation to meet the Water Affaires Management Law Goals.
Provide Analytical and technical assistance/ advice on Water Resources Strategies.
Develop new concepts for watershed and water resources programs in relation to WAML ASDG and ANPDF Goals.
Provide Analytical and Technical assistance/ Advice on Water Resources Management Policies.
Develop standards for Water Resource Project’s Design and molding.
Provide Analytical and technical support in river Engineering and river training Policies.
Provide technical assistance and concept for better implementation of IWRM Process.
Contributing to stakeholders’ meetings conferences and other events by supporting documents and presentations preparation.
Participating in technical meetings/activities like structuring of seminars workshops training materials for the NWARA’s organized events.
Any other task assigned by the related supervisor.
