  • At least 3 years’ experience in training and curriculum development. Experience in coordinating educational or employment programmes desirable. Experiencing working with clients coming out of difficult backgrounds preferred.

Education & Training:

  • University Graduate social science Social Work Counselling or related field preferable


  • Fluent Dari Pashto and English  language

  • Computer Literacy

  • Ability to write reports

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work with clients coming out of difficult backgrounds relate well to partnering NGOs employers International support offices as well as Government Ministries.

Hagar Afghanistan an International NGO is currently seeking a qualified person for the position of Female Trainer.

The Trainer will give trainings inside/outside of the office within the Empowering Women for Economic Participation Programme (EWBF) for women and girl survivors of GBV. The Trainer will also be responsible for making the training material and be keen to find best fit activities for participants in EWBF.

Main Duties:

  •  Assist in curriculum development for all training modules to be delivered to clients.

  • Ensure all training have relevant materials supplies and timetables ahead of training.

  • Ensure all monitoring and evaluation methods are instituted with all training participants.

  • In conjunction with case workers develop plans of implementing each aspect of each client’s Personal Training Plan in order to work towards the career goals for the client.

  • Ensure clients are able to attend programs that fulfil their training plans and career goals.

  • Conduct trainings with clients and assist clients to review what they have learnt in both Hagar delivered trainings and those attended by clients with partner organizations.

  • Report on activities to Program Manager.

  • Assist Program Development coordinator in implementing monitoring and evaluation findings into the project. 

  • Participate in individualized career planning and management meetings staff training and staff meetings.

  • Keep accurate records of all client career training plans and attendances and keep Hagar database updated

  • Perform any other duties to assist with the running of Hagar projects at the request of Program Manager Country Director or other senior staff.
